While every single Indian who goes to give vote should become aware of this man,who has made democracy a truth for every Indian. For those like him nowadays India is not a failed state like our neighbours,Pakistan.

Sukumar Sen (civil servant)

Sukumar Sen was an Indian civil servant who was the First Chief Election Commissioner of India, serving from 21 March 1950 to 19 December 1958. Under his authority, the Election Commission correctly implemented and oversaw independent India’s 1st two general elections, in 1951–52 and in 1957.Such was his admin ability that  other nations also used to call him for there elections,so he  has also served as First Chief Election Commissioner in Nepal and Sudan.

Sen was born in 1899 in Bengali family. He was the elder or eldest son of a district magistrate. He was educated at Presidency College, Kolkata and at the University of London. He was awarded a gold medal in Mathematics at the latter.
