Pakistan Airlines plane crash near Abbottabad, 47 people aboard, 21 bodies found

Pakistan Airlines plane crashed near Abbottabad. Pakistani singer Junaid Jamshed and 47 people aboard, including three foreigners. The plane was headed to Islamabad from Chitral. The plane crashed in a  hilly area. Pakistan’s army said that the so far 21 bodies have been recovered from the place where the accident happened.

Radio Pakistan said the incident happened in the village havelis Patola terrain. Pakistan Ordnance Factory near the site of the accident. Villagers saw it fall. According to the passenger list of the plane 31 men, 9 women and 2 young children were aboard. In addition, two and three pilots were air hostess.

Global aviation watchdog Aviation Herald  told the Dawn “PK -661 crashed due to engine failure.”
