Narendra Modi government gave a big gift to the central workers. The central cabinet has given dearness allowance to employees and pensioners 12 percent. This decision will be effective from 1st January, 2019, which will benefit more than 1 crore Central employees and pensioners. In addition, the Cabinet has approved the National Rapid Transit System which will connect Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut.

Modi government's gift to central employees, increased dearness allowance by 3%

Giving information about the decision of the Cabinet, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley informed about the decision of the Cabinet, that the dearness allowance received by the Central employees and pensioners has been increased by 3 per cent. Due to this, 9 percent dearness allowance received before January 1, 2019 will be 12 percent. He said that this decision will have an additional burden of Rs 9168.12 crore on the country’s treasury. The government’s decision will benefit 48.41 lakh central employees and 62.03 lakh pensioners.
